ALBERT BALDEO WINS CONGRESSIONAL AWARD, CITY COUNCIL CITATION & SENATE RECOGNITION

Attorney at Law, Community Advocate and former City Council candidate, Albert Baldeo, recently earned the following awards and citations: the City Council Citation for Outstanding Political Activism, the Certificate of Merit from Senator Padavan for his exemplary and distinguished record of service to his community, the Congressional Award from Congressman Anthony Weiner for Special Recognition, the Nassau County Citation for his Selfless Commitment to His Fellowman that warrants attention and gratitude, New Yorkers for Fields for his generous contribution and support, the Polish American Congress for his leadership achievements, and the New Americans Democratic Organization of NY for his civic, social and business leadership.

The Alliance for Rochdale Village said, "Baldeo has stepped up to the plate. He is dedicating his life to uplifting others. He is making the sacrifice for us as a community. We should rally around him. Our entire community will benefit. Right now, we have no one to represent us. Our taxes are funding their personal projects," they declared.

"I dedicate these awards to my parents and my family, who taught me the highest standards of morality, decency and industry. Our community needs empowerment and unity to move forward, and if I have been chosen to be a servant and the conduit for such progress for all of us, then I will perform my public service to benefit our entire community-for your family and mine. This is not about me-it is about all of us! We must walk hand in hand together. We must not repeat the mistakes of the past. It is all about public service, and taking the higher ground," a clearly resolute Baldeo said.

Baldeo was recognized for his "exemplary service to his community, participation in voluntary programs, unique personal achievements in professional and other endeavors and in making such services the lifeblood of his community." The City Council citation reads, "Baldeo is an outstanding citizen and is one who is worthy of the esteem of both the community and the great City of New York."

Attorney and Community Advocate Albert Baldeo meets with the Hon. Eliot Spitzer, the next Governor of New York. "Mr. Spitzer will bring resources to our community, including the creation of more jobs, better health care, education, wages, lower crime and racial profiling, and more senior assistance. We must give him our support!" Baldeo urges.
